Skylights made of Plastic (PVC Skylights)

Plastic skylights offer excellent thermal insulation and are known for their durability. Plastic windows, which are mostly made of PVC or polyurethane, require less maintenance as they do not need to be re-treated. Together with the installed insulating glass, plastic windows provide good thermal insulation and offer a great price-performance ratio.

Skylights made of Wood

Wooden skylights offer several advantages. Wooden windows are environmentally friendly and made from a natural resource. Additionally, wood has a positive CO2 balance. For our Homeflexx skylights, only wood from sustainable forestry is used. Wooden windows create a pleasant indoor climate through the use of a natural material. Wood also has high strength, is very lightweight, offers excellent insulation values, and is particularly breathable. Furthermore, wooden skylights are very durable.

Skylight Roller Blinds

A beautiful skylight can be further enhanced with a roller blind. With various fabric designs, the skylight roller blind seamlessly integrates into the room, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, the main advantage of roller blinds is privacy and sun protection. Depending on the transparency of the chosen roller blind fabric, more or less light is allowed into the room, and direct sunlight is prevented. Electric Skylights

Electrically operated skylights are a popular and practical addition. Especially for skylights that are difficult to reach, an electric skylight is an excellent choice. With a motor, electric skylights can be opened and closed at the desired angle and at specified times. Sun protection elements and roller shutters can also be operated in this way. Operation is done via a wall switch, remote control, or an app on a mobile device.

Due to the excellent construction of these types of skylights, the light entry is maximized, and the light is distributed throughout the room with the help of prisms. A daylight spot should be positioned on the roof in an area with the most intense sunlight to ensure maximum light illumination of the room.
